Responsibilities

Dive into the fast-paced world of marketing at IBTS as our Digital Marketing and Social Media Intern! This is an electrifying paid, part-time opportunity for a social media-savvy individual who is eager to make a significant impact. Join our internal marketing communications team and help propel our initiatives to new heights, including assisting with content planning, development, and implementation for our website, social media channels, and other digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

1. Social Media and Digital Marketing:

    Assist with planning, developing, and posting social media content and campaigns.
  • Assist with planning our bi-weekly podcast.
  • Contribute to finding and posting relevant industry news and content to share on our social media channels.
  • Assist with content management for our brand-new website.
  • Help track and analyze social media metrics to identify trends and opportunities for increasing engagement.
  • Support graphic design and video editing needs for digital content.

2. Team Collaboration and Support:

  • Work closely with the internal marketing communications team to support various marketing projects.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings to contribute innovative ideas.
  • Help coordinate content timelines and deliverables for maximum efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, English, Broadcasting, Advertising, Journalism, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Passionate about B2B social media and digital marketing trends for businesses.
  • Experience with website content management systems and social media platforms, including LinkedIn.
  • Creative thinker with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Video editing, graphic design, and/or broadcast experience and skills a significant plus.
  • Experience with government and/or the built environment a plus.
  • Bi-lingual proficiency in English/Spanish a plus.
